Are the 70s shows replayed? I know the 80s shows are aired on Sunday, noon w/ a repeat of last weeks show at 8pm (or so it seems). Does the 70s channel do this?

I tried emailing them through their website to find out what AT40 show would be on this weekend but since the drop down menus don't work properly, the message couldn't go through. I tried emailing them at seventies@xmradio.com and I got an auto reply telling about the new programming on Sirius XM-nothing about AT40. I just went to the Sirius website and emailed Ron Parker, the 70s DJ on air right now and sent him a message-if he answers, I'll let you know.
Apparently, the old days of John Clay providing the AT40 dates by email and on the programming schedule of xmradio.com are long over and whoever is in charge doesn't want the information publicized (I don't see why the programming dates should be secret). If I find out anything, I'll post it here.

No Answer as of yet..I guess the only way that we are going to know what's to be broadcast is to catch the first minute and post here ASAP-like fans of WT40 have been doing elsewhere on this board.

Talk about deja vu!-Last week,the 11/27/76 countdown was played on terrestrial radio & now XM is playing the countdown from the following week.

Easy question guys and girls - is the 80s show that's broadcast at 8 pm Sunday NIGHTS the same 80s shows that's broadcast at NOON on Sundays?
The previous week they played a DIFFERENT countdown at 8 pm than the one they played at noon.

This afternoon's 80s on 8 show is 12/13/80.
They just did this one two years ago (where's my November/December 1985??), so it'll be a waste, unless. . .
Previously, they played the original version that never aired. Perhaps they are now using the updated version with Casey's tribute to John Lennon? I'm not holding my breath, but I guess we'll find out at the first-hour trivia question.

What they've done the past couple of weeks is play a repeat of the previous weeks noon show at 8 eastern sunday night. If that happens tonight, we will hear 11/15/80 at 8. That would be 2 shows from the same year so I'm not sure. Guess we will just have to wait and see. |

Looks like you're correct Dougray. Tonight's 80's show is a repeat of last week's noon show: 11-15-80. I knew I should have set my recorder..... Oh well! |

"Video" would gain greater fame and notoriety two years later when it was used to launch MTV. |
