I noticed the Dish Display of 11/22/81 date instead of the 11/22/86 date as well. What's interesting, my receiver happened to be still tuned to the repeat last night of the 80's show and XM aired 11/14/81 (the one from last weekend). I recorded the XM 70's last night as well just to make sure they didn't air the '79 one and it was a repeat of the '74 show from Saturday.

yes - I was going to record the 80s show at noon, but decided to wait until 8 pm - well, it seemed they were different shows, like mentioned before - they played November 1986 at noon, and then November 1981 at 8 pm - is this going to be the "norm", or will they be repeating the noon show @ 8 pm every Sunday?
Just wondering...

To find out email eighties@xmradio.com . I will note that PD Rick Stacy hasn't been as good about answering mail as John Clay was for the 70s, so don't expect miracles.

Did anyone record the Nov. 15, 1986 countdown that was XM the week before the big merger? I wasn't able to get #26 through #19 and, because the Thursday rebroadcast was eliminated, I didn't get a chance to pick those up. Be glad to help someone else in return.
On another subject, I know this is an AT40 board, but in the shuffling of Sirius and XM, a nice piece of programming went by the boards: Dave Hoeffel's "Satellite Survey" that was a staple of Sirius' Totally 70s channel. Dave did a nice job of presenting a different (read: current) perspective on the 70s charts. I'm happy to hear Casey Kasem coming through my DishNetwork feed, but I'm sorry it was at the expense of Dave Hoeffel. Anyone wanting to hear a sample of his work, feel free to e-mail me.

I wish Sirius-XM would do the "AT40" fans a favor & let us know in advance what the countdowns are going to be.

Someone on XMfan said that they had heard Rick Stacy say last week that there were going to be two different AT40 shows on the 80s on 8 this week. AT40 on 80s on 8 will be broadcast again at 7pm Central tonight. I'll check it out and I encourage others with access to Sirius and/or XM (or Direct and/or Dish TV) to do so as well and report back to the rest of us here.

This is just odd there replaying last weeks show for 86 that aired at 11am last Sunday on now. But my Inno shows it as 11/22/81 when I have the display set to normal. But if I set the display to the big scrolling letters it displays it as 11/86.

So who's taking odds on what the 70's show on XM this weekend. I'm crossing my fingers that it's 12/6/1975 as I've been wanting this show forever. Has anyone noticed since the Sirius merger that their new thing on 70's on 7 is to air a show from the 70's that match the current week. The weeks ending December 1975 calendar matches the December 2008 perfectly and it's been awhile since 70's on 7 aired a show from '75.

SIRIUS/XM did run the 11/22/1980 show on the afternoon of 11/30 so that's a little more than a week off (well two weeks assuming this same show is replayed on Sunday night).

It seems they're only doing it with the 70's shows and not the 80's shows. They have an announcer now saying "Today we travel back to the week in 197*"
