Right now,I'm listening to the 5/9/81 countdown-It's fabulous-My favorite feature from these early shows was the "AT40 Archives",in which Casey played three #1 songs each week from the 60's.

Here's an interesting piece of chart trivia-"Sukiyaki" by A Taste Of Honey was released on Capitol Records-Capitol was the same label that released the original version of "Sukiyaki" by Kyu Sakamoto, which topped the pop chart in June 1963.

I was SOOOOO hoping XM would run that all-disco AT40 show from 1979!!! Oh, well, better luck next year. (that is, if AT40 is still running on XM by this time next year)

Right now,I'm listening to the 6/24/72 countdown-I'm aware the same countdown is also airing on terrestrial radio this weekend, but I'm sure Premiere did their usual amount of edits.

Fourth of July Weekend Specials on XM 70s-AT40 Top 50 of the 1970s (show for 1/5/80) 80s-AT40 Giants of Rock and Roll (show for 7/04/86) Both are Great Shows!!!! Yes, they do sound like great shows, but I would still rather have XM air the Fourth of July specials from 1979 (Top 40 Disco records) and either the 1980 (AT40 Book of Records) or 1981 (Top 40 Beatle Records) shows. Regarding 1980, it seems like eons since XM has done an AT40 show from that year. This was, after all, the year I first discovered AT40, so I hope you'll all understand my fixation on having a 1980 show on XM very soon. About that "Top 50 of the 70s" special, I believe this was one of those rare occasions where we'll get to hear the full-length version of the Fall 1979 AT40 theme at the end of the show. The Fourth of July specials from 1980 and 1981 may have used this version as well, but I'm not sure.
