I haven't recorded over the last couple of weeks, so I didn't notice. But I'm excited about this Sunday's (4/10/82 -- I've had a fatally damaged copy for a few years), so thanks for the heads up!

tacomalo: I haven't had any problems, which I've been recording the weeknight repeats, and haven't had any trouble until last night which I'll explain below.
Does anyone know if there was some kind of problem with the 3/30/85 AT40 show? I didn't listen to it on Sunday, but did record it last night. It appears that the #37 Hall & Oates song "Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid", was edited out. The music started playing in the background and Casey announced it. Then a second later Casey announced it again, which was his announcement after the song. This is the first time I have ever encountered this, so I was just wondering what may have happened.

The show has been on XM before, I could look it up and see if it happened before. I recorded the show 'off-air' from the AT40 the 80s show, since both we're doing the same show.

I think I sounded a false alarm--it was my TiVo software that was causing the problem--Not XM!

tacomalo: I recorded the show off of XM online, and the Hall & Oates song did skip. I had recorded the same show on the previous Sunday, and it didn't skip at that time. I am not sure why it skipped on Thursday.

Hopefully the same thing won't happen to me this week, since I didn't record yesterday's shows.

did anyone get the 1975 countdown this past weekend? also, i get xm thru the online stream, but it seems to "time out" after 2 hours. is there any way that i could disable that, or extend it? i work overnights and can't get the show on saturdays...plus wednesday night bible study on wednesday nights, so i can't get home in enough time to click on the 70's channel.

Yes - you need to click inside the player windows once in a while during the show. One way of doing this is to use a scripting software (like the free autohotkey ) that can perform those session-enhancing clicks for you when you're not watching the screen...

What was the show date of last nights XM broadcast? I know it was from '82. They never updated the XM website w/ the date.

Nothing posted on XM about which Rick Dees WT40 shows will be broadcast on 80s on 8 or 90s on 9 this weekend. So it is just like his weekly show. We never know what we will get until we turn it on and listen.
