Premiere just featured 4/21/79 as a "B" show last weekend. Which isn't necessarily a block from playing 5/5 or 5/12/79, which were last aired as A's by Premiere in 2015/16 (5/12 was a B in 2020).

While also considering with the current status of shows that now need "B" shows, which have doubled since the start of the series, 1976-1979 are going to pop up more often than they have previously. Very possible we get 1979 soon; 5/5 is definitely due for a repeat (which last aired in 2016 along with the other two Cinco de Mayo shows).

Premiere just featured 4/21/79 as a "B" show last weekend. There have been incidences were Premiere and Sirius have been a week apart. With 1974 and 1978 this week on Premiere, 1979 is likely, and the only year that hasn't been played twice this year by XM.

Thanks, and now XM has done all nine years eligible 2x this year! Lately I prefer XM rotation to Premiere.

In the intro to Sylvester's #40 single, Casey mentions that the song "I (Who Have Nothing)" last charted in 1970 by "Welsh 'macho man'" Tom Jones. One has to wonder if that was intentional or not...

"I (Who Have Nothing)" was originally a hit for Ben E. King in the summer of 1963-It peaked at # 29.

I thought it odd that Casey called him "WELCH" macho man instead of the correct "Welsh." Casey pronounced it exactly as he pronounced the singer's last name at #19 in this countdown.

Wheel of Casey: November 27, 1976.
I thought, didn't we just get a "Wheel" show from this period? And yes, December 11, 1976 was played just three weeks ago. But if you like muskrats, rubberband men, and stories of sinking carrier ships, then once again tonight's the night and it's gonna be alright.
