As I suspected, this is May 5, 2001.

The Y2K show has just started on WPNC. It started 7 minutes late. The Y2K Special ran 3 hours. The AT40 show for 05/05/2001 started 2 minutes late.

Is there some significance to this 2001 show or it’s just one they had kicking around somewhere?

A possible explanation for the discrepancy of the time slot for the Y2K show on Friday - for Friday morning, they're probably allowing an hour of cushion time in the case of shows running past the top of the hour - something that is almost inevitable when running such a long, non-stop marathon of shows. My guess is that, if they have any excess time before 5am on Friday, they'll run regular programming until then.

The Top 100 of 1998 just came to a screeching halt for a religious show of unknown length. It made me think it was Sunday morning rather than Tuesday! Never mind,it was just a five minute break. Top 100 of '98 is back. There's five minutes of your 'cushion' eaten up right there. After five more days it will certainly increase, so your observation is most likely correct.

Oh yeah, there were a couple of those Bible breaks yesterday. I think their commercial load ebbs and flows between heavier during certain hours and lighter during others.

The AT40 show labeled 07/19/99 started right at the top of the hour on WPNC. Has anybody a chart list about this show? On Shannon´s side only the previous week cue sheet is availaable. On Walt Bailey´s side I can´t click on any chart date of 1999 to see the songs...

I'm pretty sure that the Top 40 of the 1990s was based on the R&R chart.

They're now about twenty minutes ahead of time. The Top 40 of the 1990s show started at 12:40. I wonder if that had anything to do with the snafu yesterday caused by the traffic accident.
