Chic isn't in yet? So isn't REO Speedwagon! REO Speedwagon has no chance in hell of getting in.

I long felt the Moody Blues should get in, but now that I really think about it, they don't deserve to be in the R&R Hall of Fame. They are truly excellent musicians, but that's all. Nothing about them really exudes rock 'n' roll. And this is what's wrong with Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame (or any other Hall Of Fame, for that matter) voting. "Well, they were great, but they don't deserve to be in." What made you change your mind after all these years? BTW, I'm not asking Blackbowl this question. This is just a hypothetical question. I will say that the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame voting committee has gotten a lot better in the last couple years than during the times when Percy Sledge was surprisingly inducted or when Grandmaster Flash & the Dave Clark Five were tied & they didn't induct both acts in the same year.

I happen to think the Moody Blues have every bloody right to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!! These guys really can and do rock when the spirit moves them. I saw them in a live concert on PBS some years back and they were all playing and singing their hearts out. I hope and pray that they at least get considered for the next round of nominations.

I say yes to the Moody Blues, Chicago, and Deep Purple. Also War.
Todd Rundgren deserves consideration not only for his body of work, but also for his production work.
Badfinger - Straight Up (took over for George Harrison when he committed to the Concert for Bangla-Desh) Grand Funk Raiload - We're An American Band Meatloaf - Bat Out Of Hell
Three of his best produced among many others.

I say no to the Moody Blues and War, but yes to the other two.
