Please Premiere consider giving us anything from the 90s/2000s! I would be one of those who would applaud Premiere if they did so, but I'll only believe it when I hear them announce it themselves. If you're interested, I'd suggest emailing Premiere and let them know---couldn't hurt.

Ok I sent Premiere an email and hopefully everyone else interested will too.
Regarding the Book Of Records show, I really enjoyed it, but wonder where the data for these records came from. Some appear to be from the Billboard Chart but others not.
Casey mentioned the Beatles occupying the top 5 in 1964, obviously a Billboard chart feat.
He also talked about Mariah Carey having 10 straight #1s to start a career. Not on Billboard, she only had four.
And Donna Lewis spending what he called a record 12 weeks at #1 for a record with "I Love You Always Forever". Again not a Billboard fact.
Also he answered several questions. At the time of this show, 2007, what data was used to give the answers?
Figured he used R&R data post 1973, but wanted your guys thoughts.

Neither exclusively. My recollection was when that show was resurrected he started referencing AT40 stats from August 88 and before which would be BB. Afterwards it was R&R. In other words, chart history for the show followed him wherever he was at the time.

I am fairly confident in saying that for prior to R&R's inception in 1973, Casey used Billboard chart data. Everything from 1973 on was based on R&R. For those not aware, CT40 and AT40 after it was reincarnated always used R&R for all countdowns Casey did.

But when R&R was ceased in 2003, AT40/AT20/AT10 used Mediabase 24/7 in 2000-2001 (before R&R ceased), Mediabase in 2003-2006 and Mediabase 24/7 since 2006. It is featured in the Tuesday edition of USA TODAY's LIFE section.
