Wow, the first Optional Extra was "At Seventeen" by Janis Ian. Never would have guessed, especially since they edited it out of a recent show (don't remember which one right off the top of my head)

Never would have guessed, especially since they edited it out of a recent show (don't remember which one right off the top of my head) Maybe they just had it handy since it was the first optional extra for 6/21/75, the "b" show for the June 22-23 weekend.

WJER played "Ballroom Blitz" by Sweet for the 2nd opt song also from 6/21/75, the "B" show for the June 22-23 weekend. There was no 3rd opt song. So my quest goes on the correct opt songs for this show for the rebroadcast.

Good to hear a Casey show from later than 1988 for a change!
Hmmmmm does this open the door for more Casey Kasem (90s and 2000s) in the future?
Does anyone know if another station beside WJER will air the show again on Sunday? I missed the first half.

Did anyone get the Book Of Records show on WWOW in whole or in part on July 4?

Thanks to this thread on posting the time. I got all of it. Why June 21, 1975 for the extras?

Well, so much for KMXG-FM playing the "AT10 Book of Records" special. I don't think they ever did play the show on Independence Day, and the station played the normal "A" show on Saturday (the one from 1983).
Oh, and 1977 for the Sunday program.
Oh well.

I checked each radio station Sunday listings from 6:00 AM ET through now from the 70's & 80's. Last time I can check is 7:00 PM ET listing. No Luck.
All rebroadcast opt songs are wanted. PM me. Have full original show in mp3.
AT40 HAC for me 8:00 PM ET tonight until 12:10 AM ET.

No. If it garnered enough interest they might be willing to release the archived AT20/AT10s from the 2000s but that would be all IMO.

The AT10 BOR show experiment seems to indicate the newer shows would have a limited distribution and audience at the present time. The 70s and 80s are were it's at right now. I don't know. I think AC leaning stations *might* be willing if give AT10/AT20 AC versions a shot of it was a full time show. Many of the affiliates used to air this show as opposed to the rebroadcasts.

It's too bad various factors like the music not being liked as much as the 70s and 80s, the fact that there are multiple countdowns involved to name a couple are preventing a 90s series from being run. You know that is the only decade in which Casey did at least one show in every month of the decade. While he did AC shows for much of the decade, AC need not be brought into the mix but it certainly is viable. Just between CT40 and the revived AT40, Casey covers every month of the 90s.
