We have a thread on the history of the AT40 affiliates in the 1970's and 1980's so I figured I'd devote this thread to CT40 affiliates from 1989-1998.
Here's the first set of mentions from 1/21/1989 (first show):
Z100 (WHTZ) - New York NY 98.7 KISS FM (WKSI) - Greensboro NC Y102 (WHYY) - Montgomery AL Q97 (KCMQ) - Columbia MO
Power 106 (KPWR) - Los Angeles CA Fly 92 (WFLY) - Albany NY WBBQ Q104 - Augusta GA Radio Milano - Milan Italy
B96 (WBBM) - Chicago IL 95.5 WOVV - West Palm Beach FL Power 102 (KPRR) - El Paso TX Q100 FM (KORQ) - Abilene TX
X100 (KXXX) - San Francisco CA Z104.5 (KMYZ) - Tulsa OK 99 WFMK - Lansing MI Blue Danube Radio - Vienna Austria
Feel free to contribute to this thread if you'd like

The show was aired on Radio 16, Madrid, Spain . It is mentioned in one of the January 1990 shows.

WYYY 94.5 Syracuse NY played it as early as May '89, to my knowledge. However, it may have been close to, if not actually having been, an original affiliate.

It'd be interesting to know how many of these affiliates dropped AT40 upon Casey's Top 40 starting. I know WAPE in Jacksonville didn't. In fact, their Sunday schedule was as follows:
6am-Scott Shannon's Rockin America Top 30 Countdown 9am-Casey's Top 40 6pm-American Top 40 10pm-repeat of one of the morning shows, it was usually Casey's Top 40 but not always.

WFLY in Albany, NY was one of those stations that carried both CT40 and AT40. I have heard station ID's for WFLY on more than one occasion in Shadoe era AT40 shows.

Shouldn't this be in the Casey's Top 40 section?

WXLK in Roanoke began airing AT40 in January 1981 (recently we heard a show in which Casey welcomed it), and as indicated here picked up CT40 when it debuted; I don't know exactly when they dropped AT40 In the 1990s, when I was in college in that area, WXLK played both Casey and Rick Dees.

WAPE in Jacksonville was the only station in the state of Florida that carried "Casey's Top 40" during its entire run.

Yep! WRBQ in Tampa dropped it in '93 when they went Country; WFLZ picked up "Casey's Top 40" in the Spring of that year. WBJW in Orlando became WOMX (Mix 105.1) in Sept. '89 and carried "Casey's Top 40" until they dropped it in June '91; WXXL (XL106.7) picked it up that month. WPOW in Miami dropped it in '94; WHYI (Y100) picked up "Casey's Top 40" in early '96. WOVV dropped it in '93. WTHZ in Tallahassee dropped it in '92; WFHT (Hot 101.5) carried it for a while in '92-'93. And WMMZ dropped it in '93.
WILN (Island 106) in Panama City became a Top 40 station later in '89 and picked up "Casey's Top 40" in late '89, it was on that station for the rest of its run and 2nd to WAPE in Jacksonville for the longest run of "Casey's Top 40" in Florida. WNFI/WFKS in Daytona Beach carried "Casey's Top 40" from April '92-April '94. WXKB (B103.9) in Fort Myers carried "Casey's Top 40" from '94? to the rest of its run. And WEOW in Key West carried "Casey's Top 40" from the Summer of '94 to the rest of its run.

WAPE carried CT40 in name, but when they were splicing in songs and chart info from Casey's Countdown in 1993 when they went into their boneheaded no rap/no hard rock/drive everyone we can to 99.9 out of Daytona that's in ear shot of them phase I kind of put an asterisk there.

Oh, and there was a station in Ocala 93.7 I believe that aired it. I know I heard it there in 92 and 93 maybe, not sure before or after.

Shouldn't this be in the Casey's Top 40 section? Oops. Sorry. I have no idea how to move this thread. My apologies.
