Really Good pairing here. The 88 show has the only week that had Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers' "Tommorrow People" inside the Top 40 at #39. 1981 has the "Pilot Of The Airwaves " LDD, and other great songs.

"The Triathlon Of Rock And Roll" should be available here at 2 pm eastern. Listened for a bit...doesnt match queue sheet or didn't start, heard John Parr, Heart, some guy talked and then Proclaimers.

This is the second time in a row that the July 9, 1988 show aired the week after July 4, 1987 show. This is a rare occurrence that we get two "A" shows in a row with the faster-paced 1987 music package.

This is a rare occurrence that we get two "A" shows in a row with the faster-paced 1987 music package. An even rarer occurrence, which has never happened and looks unlikely to this year, is A shows from 1970 and 1988 in the same week. That's as far apart as Premiere's current playable shows can be, and is only possible for about five, six, or maybe seven weeks in July and early August.

Casey said Bob Seger was a good kid. Bob couldn't've been too good, if he started smoking cigarettes, back then.

Pitiful, when Premiere has to go to a future chart, for an OE, instead of what's on the current week's Hot 100. 'Who's that girl?' debuted on the 7-11 Hot 100.

It's been previously mentioned on here about extras, as the 7/11 and 7/18 shows were both guest-hosted and aren't likely to air, and that song is already in the 7/25 countdown. What do you expect Premiere to do? *eye roll* Extras are simply that...EXTRAS. And, oh yeah...they are OPTIONAL, too.

Casey said Bob Seger was a good kid. Bob couldn't've been too good, if he started smoking cigarettes, back then. He used to smoke 5 packs of cigarettes a day, and he used to drink 4 or 5 bottles of wine. He was just trying to live his life without chew.

Songs are also often chosen as Extras if they debut on the Hot 100 inside the Top 40 the following week.

There were some songs on the 7-4-87 chart, headed for AT40. Premiere could've used 4 of those.

Just like in the sports world, I am thankful that some people do not make certain decisions.
