KGOR in Omaha going with 1980! Brian That's a surprise. I don't think that they aired a 1980 show all year last year up until 12-6-80 this past December. Maybe since the Top 100 of 1986 aired a few weeks back, perhaps 2-1-86 was a bit too soon. I'm listening to 2-2-80 on KOKZ right now. This is a great show with some lost gems.

^I'll ante up with extras, given this show hasn't aired since 2008. Animotion, "Obsession" (still performing, and with at least three of the same members!) Autograph, "Turn Up The Radio" (still performing, with three of the original members!!) Madonna, "Material Girl" ("On her way to #2...") The Commodores, "Nightshift" ("On their way to #3...") dL

This one was aired in 2011, in which case the extras will likely stay the same.

Brian The closest would be "What About Me?" with Kenny and Kim that had fallen out of the 40 two months earlier. His next chart appearance would be "Somewhere Out There" with Linda in early '87.

Surprised that 'Don't give up on us' was demoted to OE status, considering the amount of AC stations that run AT40: the '80s.

His most recent hit would've been "What About Me" with Kenny Rogers and Kim Karnes in October 1984.

Premiere optional extras for 2/9/85:

"Just Another Night", which was one week away from the countdown, replaces "Obsession" by Animotion.
