Does anyone know if any station is playing the entire Top 100 of 1986 today? How about on New Years Eve (Monday)? I'm wondering the same thing. Possibly even on New Year's Day.

Exactly. I have to choose an 80's year end countdown to run next weekend now. Again, it will start at 11 AM on Saturday. Any suggestions for which year? Could You please make a 1986 re-run?, i missed it. Thanks! My second suggestion would be 1980.

More on the AT40 Top 100 of 1986: Did you like Casey's funky intro to the #65 song of 1986 "Living in America" by James Brown? Brings you back to the first year of AT40 when Casey did funky intros to some to most songs on the AT40 chart.

WTOJ currently airing 1986 top 100 Looks like Ken might be playing all 8 hours today....similar to the schedule for the 1972 & 1978 Year Enders only on WTOJ Exactly. I have to choose an 80's year end countdown to run next weekend now. Again, it will start at 11 AM on Saturday. Any suggestions for which year? Thanks for asking. '84, '85, or '87.

I decided to go over to Mom's house an record Part I of the top 100 of '86 from WQSR last night, an thank god I did. It didn't register in my brain that Super Hits 95.9 would be doing the redskin's game an push AT40 to 8pm, so the tape decks I set up to record that @ the beach house were only going to get half the show.
I thoroughly enjoyed the liner's that WQSR Jack FM does for the show, w/ Casey's out takes. 1 in particular where Casey says "What the 'ph@q' am I doing?" Hilarious. Clearly I haven't listened to Jack FM much to catch the show, been relying on 95.9 WGRQ.
On a side note, Jack actually has another liner they used during the week that uses an AT40 music bed (NOT shuckatoom). From what I can remember its a sort of promo for their Top 1 @ 1 an goes along the lines of: "Why wait for the weekend for a countdown, listen to Jack FM's top 1 @ 1"

I love the current sweepers WQSR uses during AT40. I always loved the originals about Jack and Casey meeting at an old Colts-Raiders game and miss hearing those, but the current batch are great. There are 3 or 4 legal IDs that rotate with outtakes. The sweeps are great... some are funny (The Hits from Coast to Coast.... back when they were hits. Now back to AT40 with the ghost of Casey) and they have used "Keep reaching for the stars, Casey. Jack FM will be right here with our feet on the ground" since the weekend he passed away which I think has always been a touching one... and even the funny ones are tongue in cheek - someone over there clearly likes the show to make those sweeps and keep it on that station now for over a decade.

Does anyone know if any station is playing the entire Top 100 of 1986 today? How about on New Years Eve (Monday)? WPAC is currntly in hour 6 of last year's 1983 show. Could have '86 show at 2 pm. It is possibly the reason station aired Pt 1 of 1981 Top 100 on Sunday. Station aired 1978 show yesterday after airing 1972 on Saturday. ice7.securenetsystems.net/WPAC.m3uWPAC went with Top 50 of 1980 at 2 pm.

WRTH is airing hour 1 of 1986. I don't know if the station is airing Part 2. KFML only aired part 2 today.

Prediction for next week's show:
1st Guess - 1/19/85 2nd Guess - 1/17/87
So on to 2019 we go, and the usual conundrum of trying to figure out which January shows Premiere will offer in these first couple weeks. The years that had their last show the earliest in 2018 were 1984, '81, and '86. Which means 1985, '82, and '87 would appear to be the strongest candidates for the coming weeks (perhaps along with 1980). 1/19/85 was last played as an 'A' show in 2013, and as a 'B' in 2016, so it gets the nod...
