Whoops! See mkarns bought up the Jake Holmes/Stephen Stills switch. Still good to hear the song.

I don't know if WODC will be back to regular programming by then. If so, they'll have the 4 hours. While WODC concentrates on Christmas music, they are nonetheless playing two holiday countdowns. They ran the AT10 generally offered by Premiere this morning, and at 8 this evening will rerun the 1973 Christmas AT40.

Warning! I clicked on kahunaburger61's WLIX link above and weird things started to happen--my computer basically froze. I've listened to their online player before and have never had any problems.

Kinda disappointed that 1972 or 1979 aren't featured this year. Oh well ... happy to hear '76.
Guessing the following as extras for the next two weeks (many of them late 1976 songs)
* "Rock 'n Me" -- Steve Miller Band. * "Tonight's the Night (Gonna Be Alright)" -- Rod Stewart. * "Rubberband Man" -- The Spinners. * "More Than a Feeling" -- Boston. * "Nadia's Theme" -- Perry Botkin Jr. and Barry DeVorzen. * "Nights Are Forever Without You" -- England Dan and John Ford Coley. * "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" -- Gordon Lightfoot. * "Just to Be Close to You" -- Commodores.

See from Mike's page that WODC is doing the full 4 hours of the Top 100 Songs of 1976 - Part 1 - on Sunday from 8AM to Noon ET.

OE's for Top 100 of 1976 (Part I) Hour #1: "Tonight's The Night (Gonna Be Alright)" - Rod Stewart Hour #2: "Rock 'N Me" - Steve Miller Band Hour #3: "Making Our Dreams Come True" - Cyndi Grecco Hour #4: Montage of #1 Hits from 1976 ^ I just copy/paste these things from an email every week (so yes, nearly every word of what I post isn't mine) and rarely actually pay attention to what the extras are. I just post it and click off this site. However I noticed hour 4 and even I'm taken aback. Seems odd for a 4th hour on part 1.

See from Mike's page that WODC is doing the full 4 hours of the Top 100 Songs of 1976 - Part 1 - on Sunday from 8AM to Noon ET. And they are back to regular music. Cheap Trick's "I Want You to Want Me" was on when I checked so I assume everything is back to normal for WODC.

Hey,80'sat40fan-I appreciate your telling us what the YE countdown will be for next weekend-Here's my question:is Premiere treating the 76 show as a four-hour countdown or will it be four hours squeezed into three hours?-That's what happened with the 1978 YE countdown a year or two ago. mrjukebox... I don't know the answer as I only saw the post on KKLZ's site mentioning Part 1 of 1976. If they are doing a 4 hour show next weekend, I would assume a 4 hour show would be offered the following weekend. It would be kind of funny if we heard two Part 1's of end-of-year countdowns on consecutive weekends without hearing any Part 2's! Thanks, KKLZ, for letting 80sat40fan and myself discover what the year-end shows would be weeks in advance! For those looking for another station playing all four hours of 1976 pt.1, KKLZ says it will be doing so (starting at the usual Sunday 7am Las Vegas time and running an hour later). The station normally only plays the last three hours of 4-hour 70s shows.

The montage was originally played in both Part 1 and Part 2 of the 1976 Year-End Countdown.

You're not gonna believe this: WPNC is playing the 3-hour version of Top 50 of 1976. Apparently it was the version aired before 2007 because Ed McMann introduced "If You Leave Me Now" as an optional extra.
Edit: I think the station is doing an AT40 year end Marathon. They just started the top 100 of 1981.
