I'm glad Premiere is airing the complete year end countdown from 1976.

Yep, sure wish more stations would've deviated from their 3-hour time slot, to give the listeners ALL 4 hours of Part 1.

WODC played the entire show (Hour 1, anyway) this morning. The only thing is, they started the show five minutes before the top of the hour.

I believe WRQN plays the four-hour shows as well, repeating tonight at Midnight Eastern.
No word on whether WPNC will air the full show Tues. night/Wed. morning.

WODC played the entire show (Hour 1, anyway) this morning. The only thing is, they started the show five minutes before the top of the hour. When I record via Dar.fm, I always record 15 minutes early just for this reason (and usually 1 hour more at the end). I screwed today, though, recording as if it was a 3 hour show. Fortunately, I already have this show (without OE since it's the original version).

WODC played the entire show (Hour 1, anyway) this morning. The only thing is, they started the show five minutes before the top of the hour. if i record anything from WODC i always add on at least 10 minutes before and after - it's a regular occurrence with them

I always add 15 minutes onto the beginning and 30 minutes onto the end of my recordings... got burned a few times early on from not doing that.

I got burned once (WODC) putting 30 minutes at the end which is why I do 1 hour now.

OEs for part 2 of year end 1976:
Hour #1: "Nadia's Theme (The Young & The Restless)" - Barry DeVorzon & Perry Botkin, Jr. Hour #2: "Strange Magic" - Electric Light Orchestra Hour #3: "Happy Days" - Pratt & McClain (Remember the "Laverne & Shirley" reference I made last week? Fitting the theme song from the show it spun off from gets chosen) Hour #4: #1 Hits of 1976 Montage

It looks like briguy and I each picked three optional extra songs correctly over the two weeks of shows. We were the only two people to pick optional extras for these shows.

I would have thought for sure that "Happy Days" would have already made the top 100 of the year. It had a pretty decent chart run that was in the middle of the year.

OEs for part 2 of year end 1976: Hour #1: "Nadia's Theme (The Young & The Restless)" - Barry DeVorzon & Perry Botkin, Jr. Didn't Premiere just play this song as an extra on a '76 show a few months ago?
