^ Was this just an occurrence on the app or were the station affiliates playing this too with that "mess up" of two shows being played in one? This was a pretty big mistake releasing this when such a mistake was made. This is the kind of thing what will make stations drop the show. I am surprised the producers of this flashback Dees don't apparently listen to the whole show before releasing to public.

Jan 11, 1992 from SS to #22, #10-#1. I think third hour #21 to #11 was from Jan 18, 1992 which was only last aired 2013.. I still wish they could try to fix the segment back to Jan 11, 1992 As we know, “I Love Your Smile” by Shanice was played twice. Once at #22 (I believe) and again at #11 (from 1/18/92) ”Tell Me What You Want Me To Do” by Tevin Campbell was played at #26 (the correct position from 1/11/92) and again at #18 (from 1/18) ”Wildside” by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch first at #14 (I think, sorry I’m doing this from memory from 1/18) and again at at the correct position at #7 (1/11) “Broken Arrow” by Rod Stewart at #15 (I think, 1/18) and then at the correct position of #9 “In My Dreams” by Party at #24 and again at #19 (I think 1/18) “It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday” by Boyz II Men at #12 (1/18) and #4 (correct position) Songs we should’ve heard: ”When A Man Loves A Woman” by Michael Bolton (#21) ”Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” by Elton John and George Michael (#11) ”Home Sweet Home” by Motley Crüe (#15) “Diamonds And Pearls” by Prince (#18) So you’re right kani. It’s obviously a different show from#21-#11 and after that it goes back to the correct show. I apologize in my original post for being a little over dramatic. The show was actually pretty good until #22. You listed 6 songs that came up twice in the show but only 4 that weren't played but should have been. What were the other 2?

I listened to part of the show on WVLI on Saturday afternoon and they played the mixed up show same as the app. They only played a small section of the show (from #20 to #10) because they missed the first half of the show due to a High School hockey game, and then missed the last hour because of a HS basketball game.

Now that oldradioshows ct40 site is working, we can identify the songs Jan 11, 1992 to Jan 18, 1992. What Jessica lists 6 songs skipped, but there actually 7 songs skipped, resulting 7 songs played twice. She forgot to list Natural Selection - Heart Don't Think They Feel (played at #28 and again in #20 on Jan 18) She also forgot to list other 3 songs that should've been heard: #19 Karyn White - The Way I Feel About You #16 Roxette - Spending My Time #13 U2 - Mysterious Ways

Despite the mistakes, I still really enjoyed this 1992 show, since I missed it the first time around when I was on vacation. I really enjoyed the 2008 show as well.

KZOY is airing 01/23/88 this morning. This was last played last year. The sure shot is "Be Still My Beating Heart" by Sting.

The apps now updated, here's what caption says: 80s: Jan 23, 1988 90s: Jan 20, 1996 d2k: Jan 17, 2009
Jan 17, 2009HAC was played last year, no surprise... And last year had was Jan 27, 1996, SS was Jesus to a Child. Is Jan 20, 1996 correct? EDIT: Yep, Jan 20, 1996 is new.

According to my records, the sure shot on January 20, 1996 was "Wonderwall" by Oasis.

Next weeks 80s show almost HAS to be 1/28/89. 1. Because it's been a yearly repeat. 2. It's been forever since an 1989 show. I am almost certain the drought of 89 ends next week.

I hope you’re right, I really do. We really are due for a 1989 show already. Thanks for posting the other songs that were repeated from last weeks show kani. I couldn’t remember the other songs. The 1996 show wasn’t bad although I would be happy if I never heard “One Sweet Day” ever again.

It was funny hearing Rick announce the prediction that world population would be 14 billion in 2015 in the 1996 show. Currently four years later than that and it's only 7.5 billion.

I really enjoyed the 1996 show, although "Get Together" was trimmed to under 90 seconds. I'm guessing that #24 was "Roll To Me" although it wasn't announced. Does anyone know where "December" was the previous week? The movement wasn't mentioned, as the song was not played. Thanks!

As for "December" the ranks I am missing from the previous week are 38, 37, 20, 18, 10, and 9. 4 of the numbers I am missing belong to "Til I Hear It from You," "Runaway," "Carnival," and "Hand in My Pocket". Does anyone happen to know any of the previous week ranks for those 4 songs?

Another mistake, about the past instead of the future, occurred when Rick did one of the "on your birthday this was #1" segments and got to Men At Work's "Down Under", which he said was nearly a "medley of their hit", and that actually they had two hits. Did he or his staff forget about "Overkill" and "It's a Mistake"? (I'll let "Dr. Heckyll and Mr. Jive" slide.)

Did anyone else listen to the 1988 show on the app? Was the segment containing the #1 song skipped over? That is did it go from the #2 song to the Bonus?
