The top 100 of 1989 would be nice since IIRC last time 1989 was featured "Lost In Your Eyes" was #1 (or it was at least on the chart meaning it had to be March or April) and AT40 can't air this since it's after Casey's time. As for the 90s I wouldn't mind the top 100 of 1996 (one of pop music's better years post 1980s) or 1991 or..... maybe 1990 (but what are the odds another 1990 show gets featured so soon)? 1990 or 1991 would be awesome. I think we would take anything that isn’t a repeat. I personally would love if they re-aired the Top 40 of 1987 that last aired in 2013. I loved that show. Have they ever aired the year end shows of 1990 or 1991? I'd go for 1987 or 1988, 1988 more so since AT40 can't present that year's biggest hits.
I'm also thinking next weekend's 80s show is most likely to be December 20, 1986 because Heaven forbid Rick Dees ever feature 1989 again.

Dec 20, 1986 is actually a regular show. Dec 27, 1986, and Jan 3, 1987 are 2 parts of top 86 of 1986.

Yeah that could be possibility next weekend's (Sat Dec 22) could be regular show.

Is the Mystery Voice on the 1987 show Belinda Carlisle? It would be my best guess based on the clue.

C'Mon down, place your bets! Just before it's revealed what the 80s show will be, I am predicting that it's gonna be a regular weekly show from 12/17/88 (which has been a yearly repeat).

Apps are updated. This week's shows:
December 22, 1986 (date is definitely wrong; this wasn't a Saturday. Is it December 20? SS is "Livin' On A Prayer) December 18, 1993 December 23, 2000
I didn't listen to enough of the 90's and 00's show to verify the dates.

I had a feeling it would be 1986, their favourite year in the 80s apparently. We haven’t had a 1989 show since April, this show is so weird.
I’ll be able to download the app as I will be in the States on vacation (can’t wait), don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad thing yet. Only the 86 show is new for me and I don’t know yet if I want to listen to the 2000 show. I wasn’t that impressed with the 2007 show last week. For now I’ll stick with the 80s and 90s (even if they are repeats).
I wonder what the year end shows will be. It’ll be interesting to see if they will be the same shows we’ve had for the last few years or something new. Fingers crossed on something new.

The 2000 show is actually from 12/16/00. Rick talks about it being in the third weekend of the month. And it could be the HAC version.

The 1986 show has only been played once before, in 2012. The 2000 show is new to retro-Dees (12/23/2000 would have been the first half of the year-end countdown).

I am listening to the 12/16/2000 show tonight on KKMK and it must be the HAC version. Three songs in and Rick is at #29.

^ Yes It is. Overall, the music is better than the CHR version, however, the chart is nearly impossible to follow. #1 is “Pinch Me,” but on CHR it would have been “Independent Women.”

I really enjoyed the 12/20/86 show. Great music during that time. I liked it so much that I will listen to it on my 8 hour drive to New York tomorrow for my vacation. Interestingly, this weekend Premiere AT40 is also playing 12/1986 but a year end countdown. So you won't get the weekly chart there so give this one a listen to find out who was big this week in '86'.
