Well, another zombie thread rises from the grave after over six and a half years. Second time is has come back to life, the first time it was 'dead' was from early 2006 (before I knew of either the Premiere shows or of this board) through the end of 2014. Have to check to see if I posted my opinion during its previous 2014-2017 run. Excuse me while I check... 3) Loved the printed copy of the Top 80 of the year that was offered to listeners. You bet I grabbed that offer And the photo of Casey 'in action' in the studio at the bottom of the list was an added bonus! You still have it?
Unfortunately no. One of a number of music-related ephemera that I did not save, to my regret. Another being a fairly large collection of local radio stations surveys from 1969-79. And the 1971 year-end printout that was also offered to listeners a year later, with the top 40 of the year and the top 40 Christmas countdown that aired that December. That year's Casey photo was just a 'head shot' not as good as the year before. All were stupidly thrown out sometime last century.

I scrolled through the thread to remind me of which year I voted for, but I never voted.
1975
The older I get, the more I feel that we prefer hit songs more because of what was happening in our lives at the time, and less because of the songs themselves. Not to say that there's anything wrong with 1975 songs.
