August 4, 2007--Scott & Michelle's big day

Dear Casey fans and Web site visitors,
Saturday (August 4, 2007) is scheduled to be the greatest day in the life of this site's co-founder, Scott Lakefield. At 3 p.m. that day at the Corpus Christi Church in Chatham, New Jersey, Scott Michael Lakefield and Michelle Robyn Littman were to become man and wife.

On behalf of all of the many fans of Casey Kasem shows, I wish Scott and Michelle all the best.

To help commemorate this wonderful day, Casey is reading a touching, moving Long Distance Dedication Scott has written on his two current shows airing this weekend. The LDD is thus scheduled to be aired on hundreds of AC and Hot AC radio statons this weekend. "Bless The Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts is the song Scott selected...and will be heard on AT10. On AT20 Hot AC, the song selected is "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain.

I hope all of you will be able to hear this momentous LDD...and, again, all the best to Scott and Michelle!!!!

I heard Dr. Joy Browne's on-air comment on how they (radio station WOR) had a party in Scott's honor, and that he was one on the calmest would-be groom's she's encountered. No surprise there -- we know Scott's ALWAYS COOL! Congratulations, Scott & Michelle!!
