Imagine, a CROOK in the Pro Football Hall Of Fame! It's true what with a certain ex-Dallas Cowboy WR among the class of 2007. He once pled no contest to a charge of cocaine possession. That's similar to a guilty plea. Furthermore, he was suspended by the NFL for the first five games of the 1996. And yet, HE'S in the Pro Football Hall of Fame? And Paul Tagliabue ISN'T? What a disgrace. I will never visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame because of this. SHAME ON YOU, PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME AND YOUR STUPID VOTERS! Disgustingly, Rob Durkee

Tagliabue retired this year, he is not one who deserves to have rules waived so he can get in immediately. He should have to wait 5 years like everyone else. Michael Irvin has turned his life around also, and he was a great WR and has every right to be in the HOF.

Where was all this outrage when Lawrence Taylor was voted in a few years back? Most Halls of Fame are populated by various people of questionable morals. Irvin had his share of off-the-field issues, but what he did on the field is what should count. And I'm not even a Cowboy fan!!
By the way, Paul... NFL executives don't have to wait 5 years like the players do. They can go in at any time. I think Tagliabue's snub was a direct result of the snarky way he dealt with the Media on various occassions. Petty, yes... he should certainly be in the Hall for the heights he helped the League achieve during his tenure.

I didn't know that about NFL execs, but I do believe they should have to wait 5 years like everyone else.

There was one voter in the NFL Hall of Fame who did not vote for LT. Liberaljag, wanna guess who it was before I tell ya?

nope, Sam Kouvaris, he admitted so on Lex & Terry or that Sports radio show he and they did Mondays on "The Ball" years ago (the station is now a Radio Disney affiliate, so you can see how well it did).
