Well, all things considered this could be very, very, very good news.
About 2 months ago I plunked down $900 to Roadmaster Driving School to get my class B CDL. Immediately after getting it I found a "driving" job and resigned my office position with the company I was with. When I took the job and started it, I found out it was a very labor intensive one. Being I spent 3 days in the hospital over Memorial Day for a scare with my heart, the labor intensity wasn't going to work. So I had to leave it, and was able to in very short order find a position with a medical supply company through a temp agency as a driver/medical equipment cleaner. I LOVED this job, only problem was it was temporary and when higher management in Minnesota found out how many temps were working at that place, they made the person running the place get rid of one. being I was the newest temp, I was the one let go. Since then (a week now) I have found nothing but people wanting experience driving and no return calls on anything professional I apply for. So that sounds bad, and it isn't good.....now here comes what could be VERY good news:
As you all know, my wife and I don't have a real ::ahem:: love for Jacksonville. My father lives in Cape Canaveral, Fl and tomorrow (Sunday) I am leaving to go there and see if I can land something there. If I am able to, Alecia will stay here to finish out the lease on the house and the school year while I stay with my father and then we will finally be able to do what we have tried to do for over 3 years….move to Central Florida permanently. We both consider that home, I actually graduated High School from Astronaut High School in Titusville about 20 minutes from Cape Canaveral. So maybe, just maybe this is the door opening to allow us to go back with no real struggle (past me finding a job). As always, I will keep you guys updated. My life is probably more entertaining than most TV shows!
