As i'm sure some of you may already know, CBS Radio as well as Roth himself confirmed that David Lee Roth's syndicated morning show has been cancelled as of this morning.
CBS is putting "Opie and Anthony" back on the terrestrial airwaves starting next week in a simulcast of their XM show which will air from 6-9am on both XM and CBS affiliates, and then an "uncensored" 2 hours from 9-11 on XM.
Cleveland, however, is unique as "O&A" are not replacing DLR on CBS classic rock station WNCX, but are rather moving to their old spot on 92.3 "K-Rock" which is also a CBS Radio station. They will run from 3-6pm on tape delay. WNCX has yet to announce what they plan to do for the morning drive.
I never heard DLR's show, but from what I have heard it was simply terrible. Not that I was ever a huge Howard Stern fan, but this show must have been god awful.

Are Opie and Anthony really THAT controversial? I know the deal with the church but are they that bad all the time? I have XM and have never listened to them.
That whole mess with Stern/DLR/OnA seems to be one convoluted nightmare. I hear it's pretty much CBS that doesn't know what the heck they are doing.
