Let me say this up front, I DO NOT like musical performaces intertwined with sports events. I feel if I want to see a concert, I'll go to one or watch one on TV somewhere.
However, this pregame show with Stevie Wonder is WAAAAAAAYYYYY better than last years. It helps to have some tradition to speak of which Detroit has too. And that is what the pregame show is a tribute to. Stevie looks good, sounds good, and the throwback to the Motown era look brings a nice feel to it.

while better than last year, I have no idea what he was talking about at the end. Something about religion and annihilation. I guess somehow that brings about peace. I really wasn't paying but half attention.

I liked whatever year that was that Josh Groban performed "You Raise Me Up", I think that was two years ago. I thought Stevie was pretty good, and most of the others too, whoever they were, hehe.

I remember one Super Bowl, when the game ended. However, the trophy and MVP presentation was put on hold for a Bon Jovi post game concert. I'm glad the NFL dropped that idea for future post game concerts.
It just didn't make sense, "hooray we won, but we must wait to celebrate and our awards because it time for a Bon Jovi concert!"

now I just wish they would eliminate the pregame concerts and the halftime one, and then the Superbowl would be really awesome.
