I guess all bad stories should at some point have at least a semi happy ending. And mine has. At the end of the last month, my wife and I were able to trade in the one car we had that was close to falling apart and with our tax return as well, able to get two cars. 1 new, and 1 used. The new one is an 06 Hyundai Elantra, the used is an 05 Hyundai Elantra with 14,000 miles on it. So, the car nightmare is over. Now for the really good news. We found a place to rent and are moving in March 31/April 1. If I seem preoccupied or busy, this is the reason why. I am not bragging about any of this, it was a LONG HARD ROAD to wind up with some good in my life. Finally I have some, and am very happy about it. And for those of you going through rough times now, I hope you get some happiness soon too.

So, the question may be...why did I pull this out of the doldrums buried in the deep recesses of this board? Well, the happy ending to this nightmare has finally come.
Last year, I completed I disagreeociates Degree and started working for a company with AWESOME benefits, pays very well, etc. Last week I got a call from HR for a position I posted for in March, and interviewed for the first week in June. As you can see, this company doesn't move real fast. Anyway, when HR called...they offered me the position. I am getting a HUGE salary increase, and...best part of all......wait for it......ready yet......ok......here it is.......the position is in TAMPA, FL! And, my wife because she is relocating to a new school district also is getting a pay raise also. So, while packing sucks, loading and unloading a moving truck sucks, getting a promotion, making a lot more, and getting away from North Florida does NOT! I start my new position there on August 18. 3 weeks from tomorrow!
