I have decided to try and break new ground with a different type of poll here in the latest news section of the messageboards. We don't always have to discuss music, we can do other things as well. So, I am interested to see where all my fellow countdown brethren and sistren side on this.
Now, it's all I can do not to throw in options on this one. After all, this superbowl IS in Jacksonville, my hometown. And most know my opinion of that place. Oh, and on that note, do NOT buy the beauty shots you see on ESPN or anywhere else. ESPN is set up on the (polluted) riverfront of the St. Johns River next to Friendship Fountain, and it is 1 of only 3 locations I knew someone could originate from, the other two being the stadium, or across the water from where ESPN is, at the Jacksonville Landing(that't the thing with the orange roof on it you see).
Anyway, I regress, it would be easy to put in:
- option 3 No one, both teams gave up so they could high tail it out of town.
- option 4, anything short of a Florida Gators win will incite a local riot
- option 5 Waffle House is the only real winner with the revenue they are making as the only 5 star restauraunt in town.
As you can see, I could have added several options. But for the sake of trying to come up with a serious discussion, I am only putting in the two teams involved. Let's see how everyone votes and see if our perception is about what the national average is.
