A post on the radio-info messageboard (see link at bottom) states that Dees is leaving Premiere when his contract is up at the end of 2004. If that's true, do you think that the Clear Channel stations will drop him, and if those stations don't already air AT40 add AT40 in Dees' place? Since no contract was apparently ever reached, it wouldnt surprise me to see him part. After the way CC owned KIIS unceremoniously dropped him in favor of Ryan is certainly a big part of that. However, Dees to my knowledge no longer owns the right to his show. I believe he sold them to Premiere/CC so he would have to start a new show all over again. Personally, I have questioned that with Seacrest hosting AT40 and the show having surged into many markets and seems to be #1 again, would Dees's show even be around much longer. If he exits CC at the end of the year, we may get our answer soon after.
