I recently acquired two AT40 shows from '73 that feature special sound effects audible during the show's closing. In Rob Durkee's book, the show's engineer at the time stated they were added...well, read the title of this thread. One has the roar of a crowd audible during Casey's reading of the show's closing. The other has two whistle sounds audible after Casey has finished his tag line, while the Moog theme is playing out. Anybody have any others? I've heard of everything from galloping horses to fireworks. Let me know.

One I just listened to a week or so ago features a car crash sound effect (complete with screeching tires) during Casey's "feet on the ground" tagline. Fun to hear, although I wonder if Casey knew about those sound effects being added (y'know how he was about people messing with his tagline).
