John Ordrasik is the guest host for this upcoming weekends AT10 show. I understand he also is guest hosting AT20. I haven't heard the show yet so I can't say anything about how it sounds. We play the AT10 show Saturday at 8am central at www.q1520radio.com

I wonder why they decided to bring a musical act on board to guest host the show. We all know how that went with Hall & Oates 21 years ago. Hopefully he will do a great job, I will go into listening with open ears. I wonder if this was a planned week off for Casey.

Why not a planned week You think Five for Fighting was hanging out at Premiere to see what work he can do ? Please no new rumours about Casey .... it sucks !!!

I dont think it was meant to start a rumor Radioman. Brett was probably asking as in did he get a cold and sore throat, did some type of emergency in the family arise, etc. I am sure he wasn't suggesting Casey was ill with any life threatening disease or anything. That said, you are right, I am sure Five for Fighting weren't kicking back in the local Starbucks wondering what he was going to do today, only to have Lori run in panicked asking him to host. I am sure it was planned out weeks ago.

Listening to AT20 at the moment, and I think that John does quite a good job. His speaking voice may be a slightly monotonous but you quickly get used to it. He does make some out of the script sort of remarks which seem to fit his style nicely.

For a non-radio guy, he's doing well. However, I'd still rather hear Ed or Charlie. Although I do appreciate him bringing his own flavor into the show, as you can tell he does stray from the script from time to time to do a little adlibbing or a quick one liner - and that is when he sounds the best. If hosting for Casey is one of those things he has always wanted to do, I am glad he was given the opportunity by Premiere and the show.

I would always prefer to hear Charlie Tuna hosting the show. He is actually probably my favorite radio voice.

I like how John introduced himself for this weeks #4 song, THE RIDDLE on AT10. He adlibs something like 'how did I get there!'

Charlie still has the excitable tone to him while Casey is more laid back and relaxed. That doesn't mean I want Casey to leave the shows or anything, but I do think if I could for one week listen to only one radio personality I would choose Charlie Tuna.

WORLD was also played on AT10 as part of Spotlight segment. John does not intro but does mention himself at the end of WORLD. WLTW in New York did air the one hour version of AT10 with John Ordrasik this morning. I thought John did a good job guest hosting this week. My favorite ad lib was the ketchup reference to the song ANTICIPATION.

John did a good job hosting both AT10 and AT20 in his own style
