I might have missed something but it was said that Rascal Flatts's song What Hurts the Most has return to the top spot on AT10 for a second non-consecutive week. When did it first reach the top?

Rascal Flatts hit #1 on the Mediabase AC chart on 11/19/06. This corresponds to the AT10 that would have aired 12/1/06. Thus, they first hit #1 during AT10's Christmas shows. AT10 must keep stats on the chart even for weeks that the chart is not used.

True to an extent, unfortunately if you look at the AC chart during that time frame, you'll see there wasn't that much life outside that garbage music!

Thus, they first hit #1 during AT10's Christmas shows. That makes no sense at all. What Hurts the Most isn't a xmas song and during Christmas AT10 would play nothing but xmas songs.

They hit #1 on the Mediabase AC chart during the time frame that AT10 was playing only Christmas songs. In other words the song hit #1, but AT10 didn't play it because the Christmas shows were aired.

exactly, just like back in the day when he would do a special countdown a few weeks out of the year, there was still a chart that came out and he would acknowledge such the following week.

It appears this has been a uploading error this weekend for all AT10 Clear Channel stations. The exact same mistake happened on the 3/4/07 airing on WNIC and WRVF. In the ending segments of the first hour and the beginning segments of the second hour was the 2/26 AT10 show. Thus, the AT10 spotlight would be 1991 songs, then oscar winners, then back to 1991 songs.
It sure sounds like Clear Channel laid off the computer programmer who uploads out AT10 to the Clear Channel stations.
