I can predict the AT10 Valentines Day Show. It will be 3 hours of 'love songs.' The top 10 AC songs will not be played. Casey will say over and over again, "I'm Casey Kasem and you are listening to an American Top 10 Valentines Special." He will tell the story about valentines cards, St. Vanlentine, and one LDD. Then this show will be rerun every year over and over again, but the LDD will be cut out.
On this weekends AT10 show, Casey does mention about the upcoming AT10 Valentine's show.
That article has some errors on which cities carry AT10. Casey does not air in Chicago. Atlanta just dropped AT10 for now. AT20 instead of AT10 airs in Cleveland and Milwaukee.

I think its really great that Casey is releasing a CD of songs that have been featured in the Long Distance Dedications segment, and he is doing a show built around the Long Distance Dedications. I can't wait to get the CD, and listen to the special. What I would love to hear, is one day, Casey should do a countdown of the Top Long Distance Dedications that he has received over the years. Who knows, maybe he will do that on the special. We shall see.

Let's not overreact to the Valentine's special based on what has happened with the Christmas shows. Here's the quote about what to expect on the 2/10-11 edition of AT10, taken from the article linked above: "In addition to the show's weekly countdown of the Top 10 Adult Contemporary songs, the "Spotlight" segment, which focuses on a different theme each week, will feature 10 songs from the new CD. Kasem will read and play song requests from three new Long Distance Dedications and will recap highlights from nearly 30 years of LDD history.
