Hey all,
Just received a memo from Premiere. This will help end some speculation on the boards here.
For the first year ever, on Nov 18/19 and Nov 25/26, they will be sending out a regular chart show, AND a Christmas show to stations for AT10.
Beginning Dec 2nd, the show will be available with Christmas music only. The memo states that if stations don't want to play Christmas music at this time, they will make AT20 available to those AT10 stations.
I don't know how other stations will handle it, but I think we'll stay with the regular chart shows in November, and save the optional Christmas ones to playback Christmas Day.

I think that is a great idea. Have a regular chart show for the rest of November, and then do the Christmas only shows in December. I'm hoping that WNIC would consider this plan, but since they have already started playing Christmas music, I feel that the chances of them airing a regular show in addition to a Christmas show are very slim.

A Big Thanks to Jason for these inside informations. Great ! And FINALLY Premiere has learned from their mistakes over the past view years on behalf of that early Christmas programmings. Not the whole World is Clear Channel, so not all will do Christmas in November. My calendar says it's on December 24/25 ....... I know that lots of stations has troubles in recent years with not getting a regular show from the beginning of November on to early January. As a result of that, some stations broke with the show and took it off the airwaves.

Has Premiere radio decided when the AT10 Xmas reruns shows will start again?

Premiere radio has started the AT10 2004 (2005 edit) Xmas shows this weekend. The one that aired on WNIC on Sunday 11/18/07 was the exact same show from 11/26/06 which was from 2005. The songs are played in the same order. Casey says the same Xmas stories. The only thing new was the 2007 national advertisements.
Thus for Nov 17/18 and Nov 24/25, they will be sending out a regular chart show, and a Xmas rerun show to stations for AT10.
Most likely, the month of Demember will be all Xmas rerun shows on AT10. The weekend between Christmas and New Years will be the AT10 Top 30 of 2007.

I noticed on the regular AT10 show on 11/25, Casey says his usual ending, "....join me next weekend for the biggest hits in the USA....." Since AT10 will be in Xmas reruns the next few weeks, Casey should have just said simply said "join me next week...."
