Casey thanking the guest host.

I was listening to the AT10 show from 8/19 and noticed that Casey actually THANKED Charlie Tuna for sitting in for him on the 8/12 show. WOW! When was the last time that Casey thanked a guest host for sitting in? The last time I can remember was when Daryl Hall and John Oates sat in on the 7/30/88 show. If anybody knows the answer, let me know. Thanks!

IIRC, he thanked Ed McMann a few years back when sickness sidelined him for two weeks in a row.

I've got the 04/14/79 show where Casey not only thanks Bumper Morgan for hosting the week before, but also notes, "you did a great job".

Casey also thanked Ed McMann for flying the all way from Boston for doing the countdown last week. Casey said this on the October 17/18, 1998 AT40 show. Ed McMann filled in for the October 10/11, 1998 show.

He also thanked Steve Streit several weeks later ..... as he did almost every time in the 70's and 80's era of AT40, after a guesthosted week.
But that wasn't the question: The question was when he thanked the guesthost the last time ...... that was in 2002 after 2 weeks of sickness with GH McMann
