Taking Brett's advice to appreciate our national treasures while we still have them, I'm listening to AT10's year-end countdown this morning, after not much sleep last night. Casey sounds great, and the chart mirrors R&R's year-end tally (at least in the early going). Nobody does it better. I played the second All-Time Christmas Countdown from 1973 in the car for most of the holiday season. Now I've moved on to the second Disappearing Acts Special from 1975. I don't think I've actually listened to the car radio in over a year! Here's to Casey. Now, on with the countdown.

I am re-listening to AT20's first half of the Top 60 right now. When it was announced it wouldn't air at all in Ohio, I ended up getting a copy of it and listened last weekend. Now, it turns out we ARE getting the full Top 60 on WKDD - airing in a GREAT time slot of 9am-3pm....so i've got my soundtrack for the day all set to go. He's in the high-30's right now, and even though I just heard it a week ago, it's a great show! A few songs in positions I never thought they'd be in (both ways that is - songs that did much better and worse than I would have thought). I guess that November cut-off is what does it.

FYI, in case there was any doubt....Spoiler alert... . . . . . . . . . Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" was #1 for the year. According to R&R she also has the top 2 Pop songs of the year as well ("Since U Been Gone" and "Behind These Hazel Eyes"). Not a bad year.

The affiliate I used to record off of from down there (WLYF) stopped running it some time in mid to late 2004.

ah, ok so it wasnt a local affiliate.
For those interested in the Saturday night airing of AT10, I believe there is a live feed online for Magic 107.7 in Orlando. AT10 airs 6-9pm Saturday night there.

Nah, the local affiliate here dropped the show in '04. Haven't listened to radio here intently since then. Thank God for the Web.
