My AT10 affiliate is usually pretty good at timing out the show, having it end usually between 11:57-12:02 (it's a 9-Noon Saturday timeslot)

However, for each Christmas show I have heard, I have noticed they run until about 12:10. Now, I don't know if they have been starting late...but have other people noticed the Christmas shows running late? Or is this just a starting late/commercial overload thing for the affiliate?

It might have something to do with that Program Clock switch. If the shows are indeed the same as last year, then they may be following 2004's Program Clocks as well, which got trimmed a little bit for 2005.

Even so, I don't know why Premiere wouldn't trim a song or a couple commercials to fit with 2005's Clock. But this is the same company who would allow "dropping from #9 to #8" on their countdown, so anything's possible.
