On this week's American Top 10's Long Distance Dedication segment, a woman mentioned that she is 37 years old, and she has been listening to Casey since she was 8 years old, and she was doing an LDD to her daughter. She also mentioned that her daughter also listens to American Top 10, and her favorite segment on the show is the Long Distance Dedications. Just a classic example that the Love of Casey is carrying over to the next generation.

Heard this LDD on AT20... pretty cool that the letter writer gave Casey his props.

I'm 18, 19 next week, and got my start being hooked on Casey when I was 14, so even though I am older than the daughter in the LDD, I do know what you mean.

Nice to hear that there are some parents exposing their young children to Casey Kasem. Casey's style really hasn't changed since I was a kid, and I started listening to the show at around 5 years old (really!). Just another example of why PDs shouldn't bury Casey in early or late timeslots...he's still got UNIVERSAL appeal.
