I am not too crazy about American Top 10 moving from 8am-11am to 6am-9am. I am glad that AT10 is back on WNIC, but I don't like the new time slot. This reminds me of back in 1990, when WHYT, (Detroit's AT40 affiliate at the time), move the show from 8am-12pm, to 6am-10am, to make room for the Detroit Top 25 Countdown. As for WNIC, it's great to get AT10 back, but I just wished that they would keep the show at its old time slot. I feel that listening to AT10 at 6am will be better than no AT10 at all.

Sorry JBXMRN, WNIC has now started their Christmas music now.
Until Casey starts the AT10 Christmas shows. Casey is off WNIC again.
Try 107.9 FM Cars 108 in Flint Sunday Mornings at 9 am or 101.5 FM in Toledo Saturday Mornings at 7 am for AT10 with Casey Kasem.

WNIC is in Detroit. You are correct that the Chicago AT10 affiliate did drop the show.

I noticed today WNIC aired AT10 one hour later today, from 7 am to 10 am. I tuned in at 6:30 am and only heard flashback music. I thought WNIC was going to drop AT10 in the summer similiar to 2004. However, I tuned in again at 7:40 am, and Casey was at the #8 song. I hope the 7 am start will remain.

It appears AT10 will start now at 7 am Sundays on WNIC. That was the starting time for 7/2 and 7/9. The one hour later starting time is much better!

AT10 at 7 am. I love it. It beats listening to the show at 6 am, but if it were to start at 8 am, that would be even better.

The 9am-Noon slot is ideal, in my opinion. It's late enough where there is no problem waking up, but it's over by noon and you have the whole afternoon.

Just record it using Total Recorder and it doesn't matter

I noticed on 9/3/06, WNIC aired AT10 with Casey Kasem at another later time slot. It ran from 8am to 11 am on the Labor Day Weekend.

You can tell the summer months are coming. It means WNIC messes with the start time of AT10 again. The 5/6 show started at 7 am. Since 1/7/07, at started at 6 am.

I wonder why they bounce it around so much. Or if it is simply a matter of who is programming the hours for the week. Remember when they did not air the show for an entire summer because of the "Flashback Weekends"?

WNIC is still airing AT10 Sundays 7 to 10 am, similiar to the summer of 2006. Probably after Labor Day weekend, it will return to 6 am. Then, it gets prempted the whole month of November with Xmas music.
