Listened to AT10 on the net via lite98 in Richmond Va today. Had not heard the show in a long time due to the local affiliate dropping the show last year. Nice to hear Casey again. Sounding like a man in his 70's (which he is, of course), but I'll still take him at 73 over anyone else. Today's show's spotlight was on multi-million selling singles of the 70's. I like the mix on this show, hits from the 60's to today, in addition to the Top 10, which they were wise to cut down to 10, as stagnant as the AC chart is (and all charts these days, it seems). And a Sunday countdown just isn't complete without an LDD or two. Long live Casey and AT10/20.

On the show this week, Casey did an extra featuring the group, "Mercy Me". I had never even heard of that group prior to this week's show. It was the first extra featuring an act that I had never even heard of.

It was the first extra featuring an act that I had never even heard of. They've had atleast three hits on the AC chart, the biggest of which was "I Can Only Imagine" which also made the pop chart.

It peaked at # 29 Pop CHR, and spent 13 weeks in the Top 40 as stated on R & R archives. On the Year End Chart Top 100 of 2003 it ranked #93. The Christian group from Greenville, Texas- MercyMe -took almost 2 years to break that song as it was originally released in 2001. Here’s the link to the Christian band’s website: (also, they spell their name as one word - MercyMe with no space. Anybody knows why?) www.mercyme.org/

and the Christian AC chart, and spent I dont know how many weeks at #1. It also cracked the BB country chart, but didn't reach the Top 40. MercyMe's three Mainstream AC hits are: "I Can Only Imagine", from 2003, "Here With Me" from last year and "Homesick", which is climbing the chart as we speak. "Here With Me" spent eight weeks atop the Christian AC chart (according to 20: The Countdown Magazine) and was the top song of 2004, the second year in a row that they topped the Christian AC year end chart. You might think that their 2003 chart topper was "I Can Only Imagine", but in fact, that song came out at the end of 2001 and topped the chart in early 2002. Why was it released to mainstream radio so late? Your guess is as good as mine. The song that was number one for all of 2003 on the Christian AC chart was called "Word Of God Speak", which spent 20 weeks at number one, believe it or not! That song did not chart at mainstream radio - yet (Hey, if "I Can Only Imagine" charted at mainstream eighteen months later than it did at Christian AC, who knows?) "Homesick" peaked at number two on the Christian AC chart in January and seems to be on its last legs on the chart this week.

Does anybody have the listing of songs that were played on AT10 this week? I only heard about 5 songs on the show today, and that's it. I had a tough time staying awake when the show was on.
