Next Sunday, March 2 marks the 50th anniversary of WBWC ("88-3 The Sting!") radio in Berea, Ohio! WBWC is the college radio station of Baldwin-Wallace College.
A special event takes place at 6:00 p.m. WBWC is counting down ALL 100 songs from the Billboard Top 100 chart from the week of March 2! (This was before the Hot 100 existed!) I thought many of you would be interested.
I have always wanted to hear a 1950's or 60's countdown. According to one of the DJs of the station, we will be hearing more than one version of several songs, as this was common back then. Not to mention we will hear many very obscure songs that you have to dig to find!
Make sure you have an updated version of RealPlayer so you can hear WBWC online. The online feed comes in very well!
Should be a fun night!
