Casey and his wife are slated to be the guests on the first hour of Coast to Coast AM with George Noory on Feb 12th. Just thought all you internet recorders out there may be interested.

I was wondering if anyone was able to catch the interview with Casey and Jean. I was sound asleep, but it turns out the station I would have heard it on pre-empted the show for all-night weather coverage anyway. I saw an article online stating that Casey and George primarily talked about their Detroit heritage, as well as the history of the LDD and Casey's new CD. If you Google News "Casey Kasem", several links to the short article should come up.

I just heard this thanks to a friend that got me curious about it after he listened and shared his thoughts in an email (Hi Larry!)
The entire segment is about 30 minutes with commercials taken out. There is a phone-in segment from listeners and Casey was given a lot of praise throughout from both the listeners and George Noory. Long distance dedications, the new CD, and his cartoon voiceover work are highlights of the appearance. His wife was a guest as well and spoke of her crib business.
Casey sounds either a) very tired due to the time slot this program is produced, or b) older compared to previous interviews I've heard him do. Probably it's tiredness since we are hearing him weekly on AT10/AT20.
Maybe send me a PM if you'd like to hear. I might be able to help.

Although he still sounds great, I have noticed Casey's voice aging a bit over the last year or so. Don't get me wrong, the shows still sound top-notch, but I have noticed his voice naturally aging in the last year.
