I notice that on Reel Radio.com they have the 1981 version of the Drake Chenault Rock and Roll Time Sweep (which is a snippet--in order--of every number 1 song). I recorded the 1956-77 version and it is in real good shape--I was hoping the Reel Radio version which added the number one songs from 1978-81 would be of similar quality--which it is not.
I also noticed the entire History of Rock and Roll will be playing on a internet radio station next month--but I'm not sure the quality of the streaming will be high enough to record.
In any case, does anyone know other sources for this and other Drake Chenault productions such as the Top 100 of the 60's and the Top 100 of the 70s (which I have a good copy of, except for 1970).
