If you access Mediabase 24/7 from Allaccess.com and click on to view the country charts, an ad runs at the top "Happy 1st Anniversary Kix"....I would like to add a line to that "so how many stations have you lost so far?"
I ask that because it seems like nearly every country station website I view runs either Country Top 40, or both. Rarely do I find one running ACC alone. And I noticed on the first show of this year, there were 4 new affiliates for CT40. Anyone else noticing this as well?

Hi,
By the way I'm A New Orleans Saints fan, so I guess we have a friendly NFC South rivalry going here.
Anyhow I'd like to add my 2 cents on Kix Brooks ACC.: I've listened to several of these shows and I seem to hear all such of chart mistakes such as George Straits amount of #1's. They brag about being the only countdown to get to use BB but ignore BB info like Strait's #1's.
I get sick of how Kix's y'all all the time, and all the name dropping. Everyone's his good buddy, he's either toured or partied with EVERYONE. It gets tiring, and just plain poor writing. Using the BB chart is a privelage that they've not put to good use.
It's too much talk. He talks for about five minutes at the start of the show before he plays the first record. There's hardly any extras anymore which could be played if he'd shut up.
I'd like to hear other comments about this show.

Paul,
Good point. Just curious what are the things about it in particular you don't like? About the only reason I still follow it (some) is the BB chart. That's about it. Even then they screwed up the 1/14/06 chart, and the 1/28/06 chart. The 1/7/06 chart was actually the 12/31/05 chart, but even Bob did that trick before.

Again, I am not the guy to ask. I have listened to maybe, and by that I mean I sincerely doubt it is anywhere near even this, 5 minutes of the show. I can't stand Brooks voice. That pretty much killed it for me from the second I heard it. As far as detailed things about the show that piss me off, there is nothing I can tell you. I haven't heard anything to really judge it.
