Well guys, it looks like 2007 is indeed the year I will finally close the door, book, and coffin on life in Jacksonville, Fl once and for all! I will achieve my illustrious AA this year and in order to get my degree (and have a job too) it appears Tampa, FL is me and my families destination as the company I am working for has an office there. I am a;ready extremely excited. I'll finally live in a city with things to do and be able to afford doing them. For a sports nut like me, there is a hockey team, a football team, and a team loosely resembling that of a baseball team there as well. Plus a bug aquarium, a theme park, a water park, and if we think he want to do something other than Tampa, "Home" (Orlando) is only a little over an hour away!! ;D
Anyway, enough about the exciting things happening this year, I just looked up some radio shows airing in the Tampa area that I listen to and found it odd. When I live in a local market carrying shows, I like to record them off that local radio station (unless of course your call letters are WQIK). I won't be able to accomplish this in Tampa, because unbelievably, three of the main shows I listen to all come on during the same hours.....on a SATURDAY MORNING no less!!!!! AT40 airs Saturday from 6-10am, AT20 airs Saturday from I guess 7-10am, and then the local country music channel, ironicallly named WQYK, airs the Country Top 40 Saturdays from 5-9am!!! I have never had to deal with a 5am airing of any show. On the brightside, I can record Backtrax USA 80's and 90's as they air back to back on Sunday night against Kix Brooks. Backtrax wins a blowout in that battle!
