Thank you all who have helped me out with the purchase of the Total Recorder Pro! I know I am going to have fun with it!
I need help finding a URL---that to the stream of Cool 102 WCIB. When you actuate the "Listen Live" link, a pop-up to the Windows Media Player opens and plays the content. The station comes in very clear! I almost feel like I am back on Cape Cod!
For the life a me I cannot figure out the stream's URL. I need it to help me record a show that is on Saturday nights. I have tried every trick in the book, but to no avail.
Again, any help would be appreciated!
Thank you! RNH

There are many websites that have pop-up players. They are usually prety tricky, but you have t sort of get used to the way the URLs are written. Like the one for CC-streaming. They are usually "form" URLs that just change with each station. But, as with Clear Channel (CC), most of the URL is the same as every other CC site. Tricky though. Shawn

I am not really sure (don't use MS IE, but Firefox ) how you use Edit w/ MS Word functionality. So, in my case (and I know this works with MS IE as well) it's "View / Page source"... In some (more complex) cases you need to get a hold off the actual javasript file (which is stored somewhere on the server)... So: sometimes it's obvious, sometimes you need to do a bit of a detective work to find it... And - some knowledge of html, or scripting is preferable.

Need help with this again:
While the provided URL in a previous message for WCIB has worked for several months, I have had trouble with this in recent weeks. Sometimes I get the feed; most of the time I don't.
When I access the wmp from the cool102 website I have no trouble.
Is it possible there is a second URL, one that works all the time, to the same feed, and if so, what is it?
Again, thanks for your help!

Thank you, again, Nenad! I have reset my Saturday night program to the URL you provided! This one looks like it open the same WMP URL as the one from the website itself.
By the way, are you going to update the list of stations that carry AT40 the 70's and 80's on your website. I can tell you, it looks like WKIM no longer carries the 70's show and you can add WWBB (Ed McMann's station out of Providence!) as one that does! Good sounding stream, too!

When I access the wmp from the cool102 website I have no trouble. Well, I discovered while checking WWBB stream that I had the same problem (complete silence) with WWBB's stream or downloaded stream file, as the one you described earlier. Here's how I get it to work, I play the stream/file either with: 1) old Windows Media Player (there's file called "mplayer2.exe" which is stored in the same folder as WMP) or 2) Media Player Classic (which you get when you download and install f.e. Quick Time Alternative) BTW, my site is now updated with all of the new stations.
