With the broadcast of it, it made me thing of some songs that IMO should have made the top 40, but did not. Some are now radio classics.
Tiny Dancer - Elton John What I Like About You - The Romantics I Melt with You - Modern English Girls On Film - Duran Duran Sail On Sailor - The Beach Boys You Are In My System - Robert Palmer Goodbye to You - Scandal New Years Day - U2
Just to name a few

I'm pretty sure "Without You", "Shaddup You Face", and "Touch And Go" made the top 40. It seems like the Motley Crue one was even in the year-end top 100 special.
"Tell Me I'm Not Dreaming" likely would have made the top 20 except it wasn't released as a single. I remember hearing it a lot back then.

Without You peaked at #8 in April 1990. Touch and Go peaked at #37 in October 1980, but Shaddap You Face did not make the top 40. It peaked at #53 in July 1981.

You know, I was thinking that this would be a great theme for a Rhino series of CD's!
