One of Shadoe's early radio gigs was right here in Tucson on 580 KIKX as 'Jefferson K' between mid-1967 and early 1969. From Tucson he jumped to WRKO Boston, which was where he first used the 'Shadoe Stevens' on-air handle. |

I think his voice was heard in “The Kentucky Fried Movie.” ...and as spokesperson 'Fred Rated' on both radio and TV for the long-defunct Federated Electronics chain in the '80s. |
