Complications from Alzheimer's disease has taken the life of Greg Kihn. He passed away August 13 at the age of 75. Met him at a radio station sponsored event in the mid-90s. Really nice guy. Signed a couple of 45 (still have them), and was telling me about his upcoming album at the time "Mutiny". Had a sea-shanty musical theme to it. Obituary

Sorry to hear about the passing of Greg Kihn-His biggest hit was "Jeopardy" which peaked at # 2 in 1983-A year later,"Weird Al" Yankovic had an amusing parody called "I Lost On Jeopardy"-Kihn made an appearance in the video.

There's an AT40: The 80's show of 8/20/1983 slated for the August 24-25, 2024 weekend, maybe one of the OPTIONAL EXTRAS could be Greg Khin's "Jeopardy".

That would be two consecutive times for that show, in 2021, one of the Premiere Optional Extras was for ZZ Top's Dusty Hill. "The Breakup Song (They Don't Write 'Em)" by The Greg Kihn Band was at #27 on this past weekend's show from 8/8/1981.

May Greg Kihn RIP. My all-time favorite AT40 hits by his band are "The Breakup Song (They Don't Write 'Em)" at #15 & "Jeopardy" at #2!

I really like "Lucky", his underrated (IMO) hit from spring 1985.
RIP, Greg. 🙏
