Among other things, there is a photo by the hospital bed in which Kimberly is holding the hand of Evelyn Thomas, whose real name was actually Ellen Simpson. She wrote: "Rest in peace, Mommy Ellen Simpson, also known as Evelyn Thomas." According to media reports, she died as a result of cancer.
