Can't believe "Please Come To Boston" was on the charts fifty years ago-I thought it was an awesome song-Sorry to hear about Dave's passing.

No relation to Kenny Loggins, of course.

No relation to Kenny Loggins, of course. Those are Casey's words early in the AT40 run of "Please Come to Boston". But a few weeks later, Casey corrected himself because Dave is a second cousin of Kenny.

Should there be an upcoming August 1974 AT40: The 70's show when "Please Come to Boston" is on the AT40 chart?

I'm willing to bet we'll get an August 1974 show sometime next month.

No relation to Kenny Loggins, of course. That's debatable. I've seen several reports over the years that he is a second cousin of Kenny Loggins. This obituary for example: Sports Illustrated ObituaryAlso mentions that the instrumental to his song "Augusta" has been used as theme music for the Masters tournament for over 40 years. I always liked "Pieces Of April" a song he wrote that was a Top 20 hit for Three Dog Night
