David played the saxophone on James Taylor's rendition of the old Motown classic "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)" which reached the top five in the summer of 1975.

David Sanborn even made Casey's Top 40 and Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 in Fall 1992 with "Bang Bang". Since both shows used the R&R CHR/Pop, David's "Bang Bang" failed to make Shadoe Stevens' AT40 chart which was using the Billboard Top 40 Radio Monitor Chart source.

AT40 used the Hot 100 Airplay chart in 1992 where "Bang Bang" reached #54.

AT40 used the Hot 100 Airplay chart in 1992 where "Bang Bang" reached #54. That's the same as the Top 40 Radio Monitor chart Billboard used, right?

Apparently so now that I looked into it. In any case, I am not aware of Shadoe ever mentioning which chart AT40 used including the Mainstream top 40 chart they used in 1993 and 1994. He would always say 'the Billboard chart' and leave it at that.
