Dennis Thompson, the drummer and last surviving member of pioneering rockers The MC5, passed away Thursday (May 9th) in Taylor, Michigan. He had been recovering from a heart attack in an area hospital when the call came from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in April, that his group would be inducted this summer.
He was 75.
